The big news is that our beloved old school building, home to many generations of Blackpool children, had become old and tired, and will give way to a more contemporary construction which will inspire just as much pride as the old one has for well over a century.

St. John's School is currently settled in Winstone House, Church Street, during the rebuilding.

The Friends of St. John’s School are pleased to announce that the first year’s target of £10,000 has been achieved!

A lot of hard work has gone into the effort… huge thanks are due to the children, teachers, Governors, members of our foundation body St. John’s Church, parents, former pupils and friends who have given their support and contributed lots of hard work.

Now, we embark on the next phase - with continued support we can get there

“By pulling together

we can create for our children

a top-class environment.”
