Millions of people are still waiting to receive it in their own language!
It took 30 years for one man to translate the Bible into one of the languages used by the nomadic people of Finland. He worked in great secrecy at night, after being held a prisoner in communist Russia. He became a Christian, and dedicated himself to sharing his faith with his people. A dangerous task!
Let us renew our efforts to support God’s people! Look around and see His amazing work in the world, (e.g. China) and give thanks for Bible Society in Finland and the Institute of Bible Translation. Pray for them!
