Flower Guild |
Flowers are arranged in church bringing life and colour, thus creating a beautiful setting to inspire worship.
We have a small team who spend an enjoyable afternoon each week arranging flowers, and they find this a rewarding task in the peaceful atmosphere of the church.
Flowers or money are donated by members of the congregation for certain dates that have significance for them, so flowers are provided for most Sundays throughout the year.
We welcome anyone who

has an interest in flowers (not necessarily a flower arranger) |
|
can bring flowers or foliage (especially at church festivals) |
|
who would be prepared to take flowers to the sick or housebound (and who is a car owner) |
Flower arranging takes place at 1.30 p.m. on Fridays, and the guild meets annually.
The Flower Guild would be glad to hear from anyone who would like to donate flowers for a Sunday in the year.
