St John’s Blackpool

Hearts for God and God’s Heart for Blackpool

Weddings

If you would like to be married at St John's we'd suggest that you first come along one Sunday for our main act of worship at 10am.  You'll be made very welcome, and if you are not aware of what we are like, it will give you some feel for how we do things.

It is best not to make other plans before you have been able to discuss things with the clergy.  Normally you can be married in church if one of you is resident in the parish.  Late in 2008 the regulations were relaxed by the Church of England and it is now possible to be married in a church without  a residential qualification, so long as some genuine qualifying link can be demonstrated.

We really would like to help wherever we can, so do come along and chat with us.
